Stoos has the steepest funicular in the world. A ride on it is well worth it. "I didn't know that the 'New York Times' recommended the cable car as a place of interest," says Ivan Steiner, marketing manager of Stoosbahn AG. "Of course it's great to make it onto the list of such a renowned, international newspaper." For a few weeks now, he says, there has been a lot of media attention around the railway.
